    Pedestal Table - Finished

    I realized I never posted pics of this after the finish cured. The figure really changes in the light as you walk by; kinda trippy.

    Thanks guys. I used an equal parts mix; Cabot's gloss alkyd and modified phenolic resin varnish, boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits. After 5 or 6 coats, cure for a couple weeks and paste wax with a healthy dose of elbow grease when buffing off with a linen cloth.

    GREAT finish. Nice match-up of grain patterns. A thing of beauty in it's simplicity. Nice job, Glen.
