Guys and gals,
I finally finished making drawers for this dresser yeserday. I actually started work about last August or September, but knee problems (which turned into a hip replacement), rehab, etc, I started back on it in June.
These are my first handcut half-blinds on a piece of furniture. With generous mentoring from Gary Zimmel, I have actually gotten better as the drawers progressed. If I were doing it again, I would make the tails all about the same width, however, part of the game was to see if I could cut one with five tails.
Now to make and install the front drawer stops, make 16 Shaker knob type pulls, put the back on and apply the tung oil finish. Will update later.
Thanks for looking.
