Info on Glaser tool handle replaceable?

I recently came into some Glaser tools, finding them in limbo for production, (I.E not available new) does anyone know if the tool ends are removable? If so how can this be done, and will Thompson's ends work?

The tool can be removed from the handle using heat to soften the glue holding them together.

The steel can be removed using a heat gun or propane torch, hold the handle in a vise tool up so the shot doesn't excape... heat until the steel slides out with no effort THEN insert the new steel in the handle ASAP let cool. A few drops of thin CA will be enough to hold this in place.

The difference with the Glaser handles is Jerry made the handle bushings to fit the steel whitch is .015 oversize from the common fraction.
