Contemplating a move (job related) to Covington, Newton Co. Georgia. I know we've got some Creekers in the Atlanta area - are any close to the Covington part of the ATL region?

I live in McDonough which is about 25 minutes away. I have a woodworking friend who lives in Covington. If you get to the area, let me know.

Thanks Steve - I'll keep you posted on the developments!

Covington, huh? Hmmmm........that's outside the perimeter somewhere. We "in-towners" don't acknowledge any place that's outside the perimeter. They got paved roads and cable tv out there yet?
You're always welcome here in the Big City, Maurice..........
When I started woodworking, I didn't know squat. I have progressed in 30 years - now I do know squat.
Thanks Kent!
In the Atlanta area, I've lived in two different areas OTP: Fayette County, and South Fulton County. Thought I had escaped the madness when we moved back to Beaufort, SC, but alas, my wife's career may take us back there. Oh, well...at least there's Highland Woodworking to look forward to again, that is, if our bank account will allow me to step foot in there!

I am in Oxford, right next door.

I'm in Marietta so you'll have to wait for a wagon train headed this way....hoot!
Covington is quite a bit of traffic time but if you get in a pinch give me a note and I'll try to help or commensurate.
I also live in McDonough.............small world ain't it!
Thanks guys - we'll see how this all pans out. With the real estate market as it is, and two properties here, we'll have to rent something. Hopefully, it'll have a garage that I can commandeer.

I'm in Rutledge, not far from Covington at all.
I'm in Marietta as well. Hope it all works out for you. Highland Woodworking is great isn't it!
War Eagle!
Dusty,
I used to play softball in Rutledge many eons ago!

Maurice, I'm also on I-20, but on the west side of Hotlanta, in Douglasville. Highland Hardware would be about the mid-point between us! See you there. Tom
