I strongly agree with Sean. Not only that, but I think that this is a poor business decision on Jet's part: Jet has found a way to improve a given product. The relative cost of the piece that provides such improvement is a small fraction of the overall system cost. Jet could provide this piece as a retrofit, while making a profit and not sabotaging future sales (I am assuming that most of of their existing customers are unlikely to buy a whole new DC just to get this improvement). Not only that, but they would be maintaining goodwill.

Having said that, I would suggest pursuing a Thien baffle as a probably cheaper (and possibly better) solution.
