    A couple of Peppermills

    Hi all,

My wife asked me to make a peppermill for a friend of hers. While I was at it, I decided to make 2. The one on the left is about 11" tall, and the other is 10". Both are curly maple, padauk, purpleheart, walnut and black veneer. At this point they're only finished with BLO and I haven't installed the grinders yet.

    Critiques and comments welcome.

    Thanks,

    Art

I like them, Art. They're very colorful and bright which I've not seen in peppermills... Sort of modern. I like the shape of the one on the right a little better, but they're both very cool.

  4. very colorful and nicely done!

Wow - very colorful! Are you going to let your wife's friend pick which one she likes best? Nice work and I am sure she will be happy with either of these mills!

Really nice work on the joinery, and lot of interest going on with the color. I do like the one on the right better, but great work on both!

I'll let my wife pick and I'll keep the other (hopefully the one on the right!).

Any suggestions for a finish? I'm thinking WOP.
