    46-460 extension

    Wally, good job. Have you been using it, and if so, do you get any flex. .... Jerry (in Tucson). PS, I made a tool holder just like the one you have in the last picture......

    To answer the questions ,Terry i used some eight quater oak for the ways on the ext. Jerry, I don't do a lot of spindal turning but it works just fine for what i have done and seems to be very solid as is the bench that it is fastened to, the tool holder you refered to only holds the tools i don't use much, a while back i bought a 5 drawer metal rolling tool cabinet from Sears and added a piece of carpet to the top and keep the tools i use more on the top of that.
