    Mobile Tool Cabinet

    Anyone built one of these?
Anything you would do (or did) different?

Hi Larry! I like the look of this cabinet, but the picture file size is so small I can't see much detail. Any chance you can upload a larger version of this picture? Is it freestanding/rolling or attached to something?

My bad, Larry. I assumed you had built that cabinet and had taken those pictures to show us your work. Now I understand.

The height versus width of base would make me nervous on all but the smoothest (and cleanest) of floors.

There's always that, Glenn, especially the cleanest. <g>

I do really like the idea of the extra space. I've considered making a tool cabinet but the issue would be how to get enough space for the good tools without getting huge. One option might be to affix one door to a wall? What then if you put the commonly used saws, chisels and planes in one compartment and the necessary but less-used in the other. Hmmm.. I dunno.

    Others thoughts?
One can never have too many planes and chisels... or so I'm learning!!
