    rest at last

my great grandmother passed away last night. yesterday was her 100th birthday. she was one of the most interesting people i knew. she had a story about everything. she always wanted to make it to her 100th birthday just to have her name in the paper and to be mentioned on the local philli tv station. she got her wish and left peacefully to go be with her husband of some 80 years. she was one of those great grandmothers that would give you a five dollar bill on saint patricks day cause ""she couldnt think of anything else green to give you"" she got to see all of her family on her birthday, she was alseep, but the smile she had on you could tell she knew we were there.

anyone else have a happy story?

you were fortunate to have had a great grandmother like that.
