    Puffy triangle and square

    Hi every one
I have a request for a cut-out that is a symmetrical puffy triangle and a square. Both must fit inside a 5 inch circle and have a 2 inch hole in the middle. It is proving to be more difficult than I had thought it would be. I would appreciate it if anyone could give me a hand or tell me what I’m doing wrong. The graphic below is what I have come up with so far but it is not symmetrical and I cant get the hole to find center. These will be used for some kind of a tool guide so they must be pretty close.

    Thanks

Something like this? I left the my layout stuff there so you can see how I did it. I don't know if you want to round the corners or not, but that should just be adding a small circle at the right point and trimming out what you don't need.

I used a 3 point curve to draw the lines for the triangle.

    Here is my attempt.
The secret is that the circle in the puffy triangle is not in the center of the triangle, but offset.

    Thank you

Thanks Steve and Howard. That was exactly what I needed. Thank you so much. I never thought of using the 3 point curve I used the arc tool.
