I have made several trianglular shadow boxes for display of internment flags. The angles are pretty close., but not perfect. Using a Dixey digital gauge the saw blade (right tilt) is 45 degs.
Measuring with the 45 angle on a square each cut is 45degs. When I butt the side pieces at the apex (top) I do not get a perfect fit (90 degs). To get a tight fit (no gap) the interior angle is greater than 45 degrees. I'm stymied. I am hoping that one of you more experienced than I can provide me with a resolution to my problem 45's should be a slam dunk. For me it isn't.
