    My Epilog Legend tube died just after the warranty expired. I estimated it had about 500 hours on the tube when the electronics failed.
    I had to pay for a replacement tube and I was not happy about it when the Epilog brochure advertised 20 to 30 thousand hours of tube life. I was told the life expectancy was based on the gas, not the electronics. The gas is just half the equation since the tube doesn't work at all when the electronics fail.
