    Sappy Walnut

I turned 5 of these for a customer, who furnished the wood from her grandfather's farm. All in all, I am doing 22 pieces for her: NE bowls, bowls,

boxes, saucers and paperweights. I didn't think much of it at the time, but the 5 turned out pretty nice, for sapwood.

This is about 8" x 3", DO, buffed w/tripoli only. No wax.

    Thanks for looking.

Beautiful bowl Richard! That's some great looking walnut, I really like the sapwood contrast.
