Some time back, I ran an application that did something like that on my phone. For example, I knew that I wanted to purchase a 'sawstop' so it told me everytime the word 'sawstop' showed up on CragsList in my area.
I vaguely remember that someone mentioned that CragsList had done something to prevent that from working in the future but have not followed up on the comment.
Very helpful, however.
