    small platter

    Thought I would have a go at doing a platter, dont normally do anything like this. Its approx 10" dia oiled and hand buffed. The wood I'm not sure of it came from a local native cut down in the park by the council. Soft with a very grain structure and little porous as it soaked up the BLO as fast as I could apply it

    Very nice. I love the carving.

    Very nice,how did you do the center were the 2 curly's cue's come up to a edge.

    They are hand carved and its all about the initial layout that I do in pencil.
