Purchasing used laser engraving equipment in Ontario, Canada

    Hello everyone!

As I am finding that Epilog, Trotec, and Universal laser engraving machines get the highest customer satisfaction reviews, I was thinking of purchasing one of their used machines (can't afford a new one right now). I live in Ontario, Canada and it seems to be very difficult to find places here selling used engravers. Does anyone know of someone/somewhere I can try?

    Thanks for the help!

You could also look at importing from China.. Probably cheaper then even a second hand US built unit..I just imported a Gwieke into Edmonton, AB.. Let me know if you have questions...

There is a legit used equipment reseller of usually used Epilog's that advertises on kijiji who is somewhere in the GTA. Sorry don't remember him but you may want to scan there occasionally.

Yes the Gwieke & Shenshui's are ok (I have one) for cutting but not as good for engraving, or at least that is what I have found. Easy to import as Brian mentioned.

I beleive the new Epilog dealers for Canada were just recently posted on Epilog's site as they are still trying to rebuild there network after they lost Engravers Express (now owned by Trotec).

Can you get to Buffalo NY? Jeff Aichinger is my Epilog rep there and he is great!

In a related vein, I sold a laser to guy from Montreal who just drove here, picked it up and drove home with it, easy peasy.
Epilog Mini 18/25w & 35w, Mac and Vaio, Corel x3, typical art toys, airbrush... I'm a Laserhead, my husband is a Neanderthal - go figure

    Rhonda,

Any of the major retailers should be able to hook you up with the local rep and what used machines they currently have in stock. Last time I checked with Trotec, for example, I received back a list of 20+ systems.
