James, I like that and made a note the other day to look at it again. I grew up seeing a lot of inlaid laminate on elevator doors and such and always liked it,especially the Art Deco stuff. People didn't feel the need to constantly redecorate then.I can remember a restaurant that had the door to the kitchen covered with inlay ,it stayed up for years even when it had started to peel and flapped on one corner with every closing. Inlaid laminate would be a great thing to bring back for home kitchens. CNC is ideal for it and certainly easier than the old method.
