Craftsman 1/2 hp 12" x 16" Midi Lathe Experiences???

I was looking at this little midi at the Sears Store. I don't buy much from there except sockets for my ratchets - but I saw this midi and thought it had pretty good specs.
It is pretty heavy at 96lbs and has a 12" swing and 16" between centers. The motor is only 1/2 hp but unlike some of the smaller lathes this one has metal cooling fins on the motor which should help.

Any experiences on this lathe?

It is a Craftsman 1/2 hp 12"x16" Midi Lathe Model 21752. To me it looks a lot like the Rikon 70-100. With the finned motor.

For about $65 more you could get this and I think it is more of what you would want. 1 hp and VS and more extras.
