Trotec Speedy 400 80 watt speed test

I know the results will vary based on a lot of factors, but could anyone who has a fairly new Speedy 400 80 watt machine test cut some 1/4" acrylic? I'm very curious what speed you are using to cut in one pass. I'm using a 2" lens, let me know what you use in your test.

Yep, it was a piece of 1/4" clear cast acrylic.

Well sir, I have no Trotec, but I have an 80w laser-- Even tho it's a glass RECI, I would think my 80w results should be reasonably close to a metal 80 watter...

I took a couple of minutes and came up with this video, mostly as a visual so you can SEE how fast it's cutting.
Entered speed was 17mm/second, and I was running at 26.5mV, which should be pretty close to a full 80 watts.
    --2" lens--
    Forgive my crappy camera work.

For more reference-- the cut piece measured 15.2", and by my watch it took 22 seconds to cut, so it was cutting a .69" per second-- and 17mm (my set speed) = .67", so pretty close!

Finally go to that test Gary - L to R .3" .5" and .15" - .3 cut no problem, .5 didn't release, and .15 flamed badly, too slow. Pic didn't rotate so bottom to top.

Thanks Neville! That's about what I'm seeing as well.
