    bunk bed search

This is my first visit to this side of the creek, I usually hang out on the turnings side. I am looking for a good set of plans for a bunk bed for my grandson and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

    full/twin

I'm with you. I'm searching for a good plan for a twin bed above a full.

I'll be interested to see what comes...

Ron, I am currently building my second set of bunk beds without plans. They are based around the size of a twin mattress, 39" x 75" if I remember right. Its not to hard to figure out from there. Rockler has a set of plans for $4 that might meet your needs as well as some hardware. I am using their locking bed rail hardware and the ladder hooks. I inset the bed rail HW to increase the strength and I like to put the ladder at an angle instead of tight on the bed. Just a few ideas -- Hope all goes well.
    Enjoy the journey,

    Martin
