I don't freeze particularly well. So when I get fillings, it's just part of life that I feel it. Quite a bit. But I have a really high pain threshold (live with neuropathic pain all the time) and hate freezing so I don't mind. BUT...root canals are another matter altogether. Last one I had, he gave me freezing, poked the nerve with a probe, and -despite the fact I am a lifelong pacifist- I damn near threw the endontist out his window. I was pretty angry. I had told him I don't freeze, but specialists know best, right? Took two extra shots to be bearable.
