    Globe bowl

I decided to try to turn a globe. Does it push anyone's buttons?

    Not done with finish sanding.

I like it. Did you turn it green?

Yes and no. I took a green piece and microwaved it til warm enough to make it uncomfortable, turned it some more and repeated that several times until it was done.

It looks very nice; you did a good job on it.
ps: I would call it a hollow form but you made it and can call whatever you want.

I noticed something with another OO piece. I had turned it round, then bagged it in several paper sacks. Took it out yesterday and the orange/yellow had turned brown. It was only in the bags for maybe 3 months and after wrapping it I put it in the basement. So I'm convinced there's far more than UV causing the color shift.

I took a thin cut on the diameter and there was the bright yellow again.
