    The talented John Keeton demonstrated his offset platters at the Knoxville turning club in an all-day session today. John carefully explained the details and demonstrated how to handle the challenges of these beautiful pieces. Quite the carver, too! Hands-on class tomorrow.

    Those in the hands on class are in for a wonderful day. If you ever have the chance to take a class with John, it's highly recommended. It will be a great learning experience!

    Thanks, guys! Just got home and enjoyed a fun weekend with a great bunch of folks. As a bonus, the workshop produced some great looking offset platters.
