This was the first Christmas when I could really lay on the Santa Claus stuff with my grandson.

.. we left milk and cookies that are now suitably consumed.
.. we left boot prints by lightly moistening boots and coating the treads in baking soda.
.. Santa ‘lost’ a button from his coat on the floor. That will be kept with the stocking and ‘returned’ next year. Santa will leave a note of thanks and let the boy keep the button.

my daughter was surprised that I took off with the boxes for the Santa presents. Well, of course Santa delivers presents fully assembled.
