    Trio of Picture Frames

I made a trio of picture frames for both sets of grandparents, and LOML for Valentines day. They are meant to sit on a shelf or desk. I used a few small pieces of walnut and cherry I had that were too nice to toss, but not big enough to do much with. They are built (cut? ) around some small 2-1/8" curved clock crystals I picked up on eBay. The finish on all is shellac and wax. The black version is walnut that was ebonized with a rust brew and a final wax was ebony colored.

They are really an exercise in drilling and edge routing.

Just attempting to do something a little different.

Thanks Bill. Yes, he's a BIG John Deere fan. We're not sure how, nobody in the family, or anyone we know have one. It's a Peg Perego pedal unit. I don't think they sell them anymore - they are all electric now. Either way, I found it on eBay for about half the price of a new one - I don't think I would have forked out the dough for a new one! Actually, as I write this he is waiting at the door all bundled up ready to ride!
