    Old glue or too thick of a spread are two of the issues with CA failure. It seems counterintuitive but a little CA is stronger than a lot.

    I have used it as finish on pens and it works great. I use an accelerant to speed things up. I haven't made any recently but when I do I wear nitrile gloves to protect my fingers. I keep a box in the shop because they also work good for other things such as wipe on finishes.
