    GF 450 versus Hydrocote Exterior?

Doing some exterior things that will be finished with milk paint.

Things are built to last - white oak, SS and brass fittings/fasteners. I'd like to use a clear WB topcoat to help the longevity side of the painted wood.

I've used GF WB interior stuff before., but no Hydrocote experience. These two products seem equivalent to me.

    Comments?
When I started woodworking, I didn't know squat. I have progressed in 30 years - now I do know squat.

Paint lasts longer outdoors in the elements than any clearcoat I know of. I think you'll have to do maintenance on the clearcoat long before the paint would need it. Paint by itself will be easier to maintain when needed, too.
