Bosch Glide bed better now

Over the last decade or so, I have negatively commented about my experience with Bosch Glide. My wife bought me one for Christmas and the base sagged .030” in the middle. At one point, I had a senior Bosch tech and three Glides in my house and all had the same problem.

We are having some remodeling done and the carpenter showed up with a Bosch Glide. It seemed like an opportunity to see if they have gotten better. I took my Starret straightedge out and found that the base on that saw was dead flat. So, fair is fair.

I didn’t spend a lot of time since it wasn’t my saw but I was impressed.

Thanks for the update. I also have the glide and overall are very pleased with it. I checked my base and all looks good !
