Been complaining about that Photo BS for MONTHS now...nothing was ever fixed...I have to go back and RELOAD each and every photo AGAIN...

And..it is only on THIS site, that this happens...yet..a day or two later, I can load a photo and it shows up without a hassle...BUT, I did NOT change anything on MY end....it is all here on this site..and it is getting VERY, VERY OLD...

Will try to reload the latest 2 entries...Have sent a LOT of Emails to the Admin. here..NOTHING has been done...NADA..

    Maybe later today?
    May Proj., Tuesday, tomorrow's task.jpg
Move things around, and chop the 9 mortises in Stile #3...to match Stile #4's 9...and prep things for a glue up?

Then, while Side #1 sits in the clamps for a few days....I can repeat for the other side of the case...

Was going so good, then the Site FAILED...so, NOW I have to go back and RELOAD ONE Photo?

Hauled a stack of supplies to the shop, tonight....decided to fix the two wide rails...then went ahead on chopped the 9 mortises in the matching stile...then brought up the clothes from the Clothes Dryer...as I used the hamper just like a Walker on the stairs...need to get the AC Unit back on...and finish my Ice Cold Tonic & Gin...

Morning started out by picking up, delivering and assembling these 2 items..
    Furniture, Recliner, rocker chair.jpg

Been a very busy day. The recliner and couch are for the Boss, when she gets released from the Assisted Care Center she is currently at...in about a week or so..

Plan last night, was to haul a stack of supplies to the shop, and bring a hamper of dried clothes back upstairs...

Plan got changed a bit..set all these aside..
May Proj., Weds night, needs work.jpg
Set up the #3Stile in the Mortise Jig..

May Proj., Weds night, mortises done.jpg
And attempt a dry fit of the Frame..
May Proj., Weds night, Frame Dry fit.jpg
Then set this aside, and prep the rails and panels later today.....and then, MAYBE...I MIGHT try a glue-up?

    Stay tuned..

Hmm, try again on photos..This morning worked on getting Raised Panels ready..
    from this..
    May Proj., Thurs., The Before.jpg
Saw marks, burnt spots, ridges. and rough stuff..to
    May Proj., Thurs., The After.jpg
Ready to sand to 180 grit...a Stanley No. 80 seemed to work the best
    had one interesting panel, though..
    May Proj., Thurs., interesting corner.jpg
Be fun to see where it ends up....worked on all 8 panels..then..
    Stay tuned..

Rails needed to look spiffy, of course..all 9 of them..first task was deciding which face looked the best..
    May Proj., Thurs., INSIDE.jpg
And which didn't quite make the grade...flipped this one over..
    May Proj., Thurs., flatwork tool.jpg
And ran the #80 until the rails were smooth...some were close enough, that all I did was just sand them to 180 grit..

    Then..the "FUN" could begin...
    Stay tuned..

Set one stile on the bench and into the jig....it was marked for "INside" so set that face away from me...then glue on tenon, and a spot of glue in the center of a panel..and worked my way down to the other end of the Stile..then add glue again to all the "upper" tenons and a small spot in the panel's centers...then a Mallet assist to install the matching Stile...and then add the clamps..working towards the middle..
    May Proj.,Thurs., outside, glue-up.jpg
Had a couple tenons that didn't want to enter their mortises...Mallet to assist that problem...
    May Proj., Thurs., inside, glue-up.jpg
The 2 red c clamps to close a gap on the end,,,and help center things up better...added a few other 6" f clamps for the same reasons Mainly to center the rails in the stiles..

letting this sit a day...next up?
    May Proj., Thurs., Tomorrow's.jpg
Have the #1 and #2 Stiles...they both need a foot profile sawn, and 9 mortises chopped...then the Raised Panels and the rails can be made ready for the next big glue up..

    Stay tuned..

Well, that glue-up is now out of the clamps, and standing up on it's own 2 feet..
May Proj., Friday Mortises, side 1.jpg

Next 2 Stiles look like this..
May Proj., Friday Mortises, one stile done.jpg
2 hours IN the shop, today...then go upstairs and mow the yard...
IF I trusted this site to actually show all the photos...I MIGHT post a few...

2 stiles also got their feet sawn...
May Proj., Friday Mortises, feet lined up.jpg
Was a good thing that this was the "inside" for both Stiles..
    May Proj., Friday Mortises, defects.jpg
As both had a few "bad" spots, all on one Face...the other face was clear...
