Holy Cow! didn't even know they were there...

Found a new source for lumber! Place called "Acadian Hardwoods and Cypress". Located in the industrial park where I work. Talked to the Sales mgr. and he said they have been there since last July. Took me on a tour of their warehouse and I drooled all over my shoes. They have just about any domestic hardwood you would want and the plywood to go with it. Also several thicknesses of MDF and Melamine also. Totally stoked about this as it's about 10 miles from my house. Checked on prices of the MDF and Melamine as I am getting ready to redo my garage/shop and they were about 30% cheaper than the borgs across the board . Didn't get any prices of hardwoods as he said they change with the market. Some of you probably already know of them as they have 4 other places in the South and East US.

I'd go so far as to call that a gloat.
I could cry for the time I've wasted, but thats a waste of time and tears.

Randy......like you I found a nearby source for wood recently. Normally for some "exotic" woods I'd have to travel 110 each way. Recently I found a place just 30 miles away and they'll order what ever I want!

    Definitely a gloat my man!

Good gloat. Wish I had a source like that in my back yard! I have some good internet sources that I have been buying from but nothing local to speak of.
