First post from a very long time lurker

Been reading these forums ever since the demise of Badger Pond, but never "signed up". Well I am now, and I hope I can bring something "to the table" so-to-speak. I'm not sure how often I'll be able to post, but I'll be here to at least read things.
    A (very) little about me:
I have been doing at least some type of woodworking for most of 30 years: furniture, cabinets and lately (last 4 years) wood turning. I'm also into most of the DIY stuff around the house, plumbing, electrical, networking, etc, etc. Mostly because I'm too cheap to hire someone and too demanding to work for anyway.
I also love to travel, been to every state in the U.S. and to Canada a Mexico. Will be going to Europe for a while next year.
As I post more, you will no doubt learn more about me as I have about all you from reading all these years.

    Here we go!

Welcome to the Creek, Parker. I'd tell you that you'll like it here, but sounds like you've been reading the Creek longer than I have! Jim.
