    Finished Walnut Clock for Christmas

I finished this clock for my mom this weekend. The Walnut burl face is some burl veneer Dennis Peacock gave me last year (thanks Dennis). I finally got to use some. It was nice to do a smaller project after doing some larger ones this year. It is 9" x 11". Finish is BLO and lacquer.

    Thanks,
    Rick

Really nice. Love the burl and the curly walnut. Your mother is going to be thrilled.

Isn't it great giving Mom presents you made yourself. I feel like I'm in 2nd grade again, but now she doesn't put them on the edge of the counter top and "accidentally" knock them onto the floor.
