    Turners in West Texas

Are there any turners on this forum that are in west texas. Close to Lubbock, Midland or Amarillo?

I would like to see someone turn something and get lessons from some one who has a little more experience than me.

By the way is there any way to search the members list by location? If not is there a way to set that up. I'm sure there are a lot of us that would like to know the locals that are here.

  3. I dunno the answer to this question, Tyler... I do recall somebody had set up and started a map where everyone could enter their name/location on the map - but for some reason that I don't recall it got pulled. Maybe that information exists to where you can search/query. It would be nice.

    Amarillo/Lubbock?

There is a woodturners club in Amarillo, I don't know the name of it but will ask a friend that might know. I am in Abilene, and I don't know of a club here.

Contact in Amarillo for their club is Jerry Rush jr1000@cox.net He probably can lead you to something closer to Lubbock.
