    Wynn Filters

I am getting ready to order the second and last filter for my cyclone.

I got the Wynn website from Bill Pentz' pages and I want to order the filter but I was wondering if anyone knew of a less expensive source for those filters.

Wynn has the one I want for about $60.

    This is tool related, no?

I placed an order with wynn on Monday and it was nice that Mr. Wynn answered the phone and didn't just want my credit card number but was concerned what equipment I had and talked me into buying some hose that was cheaper than what I thought I wanted, gota love customer service like this...

I bought a filter from them to convert my Jet DC1200 into a cannister version. They were very friendly and helpful and know their stuff. I would save yourself the time and trouble and just get it from them--especially if Bill P. likes them too as he has high standards.

I bought my first filter from Wynn for my now departed Harbor Freight DC. I now have a ClearVue and purchased the appropriate filters from them as well.

When I called about mounting the filters Rick spoke with me at length about different ways to mount the filters. This information alone was enough to make me buy the ClearVue as my ceiling is 82"

During the chat I asked Rick if he knew anything about exhausting lead fumes form casting. He gave me a great idea and explained all about moving air in different spaces. With that kind of service I will always buy from him even it things cost a little more.

BTW, if you are interested in alternative sources try the ClearVue forum. You should be able to find good information about filters.

$60 sounds like an attractive price to me, Julio. And the vendor gets great kudos from customers. That rates a lot in my book.

They gave me a deal on a dented one. Didn't effect performance, and saved be quite a bit. I think they even paid to ship it to me.
If at 1st you don't succeed, go back to the lumberyard and get some more wood.
