Make it reversible... They're both too nice to hide
...or throw the whole thing away and start again....
Actually, I think I would pick side 'A' for the center two beautiful patterned boards. Too bad you couldn't find a bit more the same, huh?

I would say "B" too. Like the poster above me, I have a table with an errant board and I look at it every time I walk past it. GRrrrrrrrrr

I think the question ought to be; "what can I build to show off both sides of this board". Maybe a hinged door of some kind? The wood is beautiful, and I prefer 'B'.
are the boards already joined? what about resawing them to make the good curl lastlonger?Originally Posted by Hans Braul
I vote for side B. It has a more consistent pattern.

Side B! I think that side A will look funny once the heartwood darkens.

Awesome wood. I like side B.
You could just hang it from the ceiling, then you look at both sides!!!!!!!!!!!!
I prefer B as well. I definitely like the grain in the middle boards of the A side best, but the contrast would bug me.
Tough call.
B - consistency of pattern.
Where did I put that tape measure...
