    Parks planer dust hood

Anyone know where to find a dust hood for a 12" Parks planer? Or one that can be modified to fit? Thanks.

When I owned one, I used a 4" x 12" x 6" boot that was made for use in a home heating system. It did not cost alot & worked well. They can be bought at Lowes or HD.

I modified a piece of 1/2" ply to fit over the top, ie,; drilled holes to fit over adj. bolts and to fit inside the other cast components, and attached an HVAC register coupling the width of the outfeed space. I plan (for the last 4 years) to add a brush to "sweep" the chips up and to enhance the vacuum effect. $20 tops.
