Thread: Engraving a MacBook Pro

    Engraving a MacBook Pro

Another holiday engraving opportunity for my son, and again his design.

    Settings: Epilog Legend 24TT 45 Watt - 600 DPI, Raster, Speed: 100% Power: 70%

NOTE: Minimum line width for vertical lines to show up seems to be 1 pt.

You will notice that it looks as though there are light and dark engraved parts. That's just the difference in the angle of reflected light. The engraved portion looks all lighter or darker than the surface depending on which way you hold it to the light. This picture is just a portion of the entire engraving. Click on the picture to see the whole top.

    Experience is a wonderful thing.
It enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

Don't ask me how I figured it out.

    Looks cool.
