    Grizzly G0514X question

A guy has a Grizzly G0514X bandsaw for 750. New on the griz. site it's 1250. He said it's about 7 months old. He set it up and made about 10 test cuts an hasn't used it since.

Does anyone have this saw and what's your opinion?

My opinion is you should buy it; if it's still available. That's a pretty good deal on a very good saw. I looked online for months and months and saw only one example of a bandsaw more than 14" and less than a gigantic commercial model.

I recently bought the G0513X2 and I'm very happy with it. I strongly considered buying the G0514X2. In the end, it would have stretched my budget too tightly. If only I had the opportunity you have!

    go get it

I have the 513x and love it. I little more space, a little more power in the 514x. For 750 it's a deal. Particularly think about the fact that steel/iron prices are going up. You won't find anything nicer/newer available for less, IMHO.

Should I ask the other question - were you looking for a BS?

I bought one a year ago and love it. It was under $1000, but $750 is still a great deal if it is truly that new.
I took the wheels, motor, and table off to move it. All went back on easily enough.

I saw the same post. If I didn't live so far away, you and I might have to arm wrestle for it. It definitely is a good deal if it is as described.

    Buy it.

I have had one about 18 months now and I am very happy with it.

    $750 is an excellent price.
