    These Darn Boxes

Well, I put a thing on here on how I flocked this box.... and I mentioned that my friend was coming to visit from NJ. Also, this box is for his daughter....More to the story

While he was here, got here Saturday evening.... he wanted to "make something" for his wife.... So, we put this box together. Bloodwood & Ebony lid. I used a cut off from another box that I made that was bubinga & a small 1/4 piece of tulipwood.... in the middle of the lid. Kind of neat how the cross grain changes the look.....
The box...brazilian cherry & yellow heart. This is where we started...in an attempt to match the daughters box. Then one thing lead to another.... and a box is born..... It was his idea to have a "secret compartment"... Anyway....great weekend, took a couple days off... going to see Mark Knopfler tonight! Anyway, those darn boxes, just keep coming. Had a blast making this one...

Dang Ed.. are you sure you don't have production line in Flowery Branch you're not reporting to the Georgia Dept. of Labor?

Very nice... again. But.. I have come to expect that at this point. And.. regardless of how you answered the question above.. I'm contacting the Ga. DOL and reporting you. ha.. ha... ha..ha..ha..

    Sarge..
