When the remnants of Hurricane Ike came through Oxford Ohio with 70 mph winds, it made a mess of things. I lost shingles, but picked up some wood. My son who is a golf course superintendant knows that I wanted some osage orange since I've not turned any yet. As fate would have it, the winds uprooted a tree at the course and I got some pieces to try. I also got some bitternut hickory, with some elm fo follow. I just got it home and sealed last night as I got dark.
I've seen some reallly nice osage orange pieces here and cant wait to try it.
