    A turning......(for the ladies!)

While getting ready to turn this morning, I thought it would be nice to turn something more geared toward the ladies that will at the BBQ. (Not that the gals don't like bowls, they may like Poupourri Pots more, at least the LOML does!)
I chucked up a nice chunk of Mahogany that I had and went at it. Kind of a short, dumpy, stout little guy, isn't he? Anyway, this is what I came up with for another attendance prize to show my support for all the work Terry, Dennis and their families do to put this BBQ together for our enjoyment. I have one coat of Antique Oil finish on it so far. I don't know if I will buff it, or leave it as is...........I am open for suggestions. Without a hollowing tool, I was crawlin' all over the lathe to get this inside hollowed without a boo-boo.............all turned out OK. Thanks for taking a look!
