    Target USL and Alkyd Primer

I was thinking this morning and realize I may have an issue here. I used Sherwin-Wiliams ProBlock Alkyd based Primer on my plantation shutters. I was planning on Using Target USL (tinted white) as the Top Coat. Since the primer is Alkyd based and the USL is Water Based, am I going to have an issue?

If so, what should I do?

    Thanks in advance.

    Tim-

You won't have a problem as long as the primer is fully cured. Once the primer is cured, lightly sand and the USL will adhere successfully.

Thanks Matthew. I was hoping for that answer, but I figured I'd better ask it before wasting time and $$$ - USL isn't cheap.

    Matthew is correct. No issue.
