Where do you buy spindle wood from?

I am in need of solid 2"x24" wood to complete a project. Preferably in ash or maple. Where do you buy wood with these requirements from?
I'm locacted in south central PA if that makes a difference. Thanks.

I usually go to one of the local saw mills. Most have retail dry wood avaliable. Oak and some maple can often be found at lowes or homedepot in the stair parts section..Bill...

I haven't had a chance to buy from them, but http://www.bellforestproducts.com/ has a great selection of wood, I bet they have/could make something suitable.

There's also a ton of wood on eBay, if you like that route.

Exactly where are you in PA, town wise and how far are you willing to drive? May be able to get you some lumber mills around these parts that might have what you are looking for.

I also get mine from Got Wood of the big auction site. Great prices.
