It appears to be something required for steampunk sculpture work. Based on one of the pictures.
Those pictures need a few rivets, some steam, and a torpedo welder. And maybe smashing pumpkins music.
I like the safety goggles the dude has on.
I need those for some motorcycle riding.
The Barefoot Woodworker.
Fueled by leather, chrome, and thunder.
If I remember right, Crokinole is like tiny desktop shuffleboard/curling, but you approach the center from all sides. The board was like a chinese checkers one, sort of hex-shaped or something. I think it might be a Canadian thing . . . i vaguely remember my grandparents friends playing it.
I like the video where he's using the vise to sharpen a pencil.
I could see how this could be an interesting solution if you making a lot of some weird thing. The part that fascinates me is the handwheel and casings for the screws . . . it makes me wonder if LV is working on some sort of wagon vise. . .
" Be willing to make mistakes in your basements, garages, apartments and palaces. I have made many. Your first attempts may be poor. They will not be futile. " - M.S. Bickford, Mouldings In Practice
The video is hysterical---love the pencil sharpening part. Happy 1st of April, all...
