After completing the Cherry Blanket Chest for our bedroom, I began planning the different projects for the Bubinga. I need at least 3 heirloom projects to come out of this wood.

Board # 1
1.Live Edge Coffee Table (Takishima Style) This will use up the live edge of one of the board. This leaves a board about 7/8 x 13 x 110.

2. ??.....Display cabinet ...not sure yet.

3. Couch/Entry Hall Table (pic of plan included)
After brainstorming with Jake (son) and Thomas (nephew), Thom drew a sketch that we all thought possible (Thom knows how to draw the Impossible, sometimes) and liked. It will be made out of walnut, ebony and bubinga. Note the W, E, B in the materials list.

We just picked up some walnut from Johnson's. Some will be used on this project.


THE PLAN is coming together!!
