Why not? The LN cards are advertised as 6" and the LV holder says it holds 6".

Ammonia. linseed.
I'm with Tony: LN brass #4
It'll make a great mallet - it's what I use.
I'm going with Dogwood.
Depends. If your floor is very level and clean steel works, but it's very unforgiving of irregularaties, so you'd need to have a very smooth clean floor to make rolling easy.
Most Rubber wheels...
That's a nice looking place. I'll call about prices tomorrow.
Thanks!
Thanks, guys for the suggestion
Which is the issue. Here, I have a mill literally across the street (Marland select - www.maryland-select.com/ ). I'm looking to see what prices might be at...
Moving to SPrings. Question is, what suppliers are there for hardwoods, outside of the typical Woodcrafters store?
It's not Luan (Philipine) mahogany, is it? Evil, nasty splintery stuff.
On the plus side, neither of us will EVER forget to check bearings on router bits before using them! :)
Yeah, it took some damage when it was partially done. I was cutting a spice tray for a drawer on top of the worktop and went deep, and some chisel-marks... There's also a goof on the front-left...
3/8" lag screws, countersunk. I have nothing against bolts, just don't want to look at them. ;)
Yup - another bench pics thread! :)
I liked the split-top design, but wanted more access under the bench, a deadman, and no bolts visible. Also wanted a better way to hold my tools than laying in...

FINE does not always mean tiny.
When I was planing my 7-foot, 3" thick maple workbench top, and it slid off the edge the table it was on, even though I managed to jump clear, I was dang glad to...
Red Wing Steeltoes

Thanks, guys. I called, and need the part number from home (duh).
Memory shot, and my google-skills are weak. I blame the Lymes.
I was doing an 1/8" roundoff, when the bearing fell off. Really messed up my piece.
1. can I get a replacement screw?
2. How do I prevent recurrance? Lock tite?
