Delta isn't making the sander anymore. I imagine the parts situation won't improve.
I tend to agree with you, the person I was questioning thinks Sawstop is not even close to the top selling table saw.
I'm not disagreeing but how do you know? I've always been curious who is selling the most saws.
I'm 37 and have been turning for a little over a year. I used to build furniture but have had no interest since this whole turning thing started. Started with a jet mini lathe and now use a jet 1642.
Nicely done Steve, how did you contour the spout and handle to match up with the outside of the pot? Making one is on my to do list.
A little more sanding next time may get rid of that roughness on the inside. :D

I like this a lot, nice job.
Thanks everyone. Baxter it had already started cracking before I got to it. Pretty dry when I turned it. I'll keep an eye on it to see if more develop. Thanks for the photo tips John.
Great bowl, too pretty for popcorn.
This is my first natural edge attempt, left the walls a little thick due to fear of blowing up. It's cherry burl measuring approximately 7" x 3". Let me know what you guys think.

You're thinking of sipo John.
Nice form and pretty piece of wood Kathy.
Bowls look great. Your photography is excellent.
Stewmac makes a clear grain filler, Colortone is the brand.
Very nice Alan, yours was my favorite. Everyone's work was excellent, a lot of talent here.
Beautiful, I like the color a lot.
The leaf was done with a real leaf, it was laid on the bowl as a resist, the copper was then laid on top of it. After removing the copper that was that just covered the leaf you're left with a void...
Hello All, here's a recent bowl that I like enough to share. Really enjoying the gilding and patination thing. It's claro walnut burl, gilded with copper leaf, imitation gold leaf and a patina done...
Although I've only recently become interested in turning, it seems to be the only thing I want to do now. This hollow form is just a piece of poplar, approximate dimensions are 4" x 8" with a wall...
This one is a little smaller than you asked about but I've been using it and the price is right. It's made by the fine folks at Nova.

Ok, I have a stupid question. Where did you get the graduated color backdrop thingy for your photo tent?
Thanks everyone
The substrate is baltic birch ply.
The legs were stained with General Finishes ebony dye and then a black pigmented stain on top of that.
Not my shop floor or my jointer,...
Hello All, just finished one of two of this table we'll be using as nightstands. Pomelle bubinga veneer with dyed maple legs. The figure of the veneer is a little overwhelming so I tried to keep it...
Thanks everyone, my FIL was by today and gave it a big thumbs up, also liked the "H", guess I'm just more traditional. It will stay on the wall in our dining room until my MIL comes in a month or...
