    Always solid Stave core with the 7mm. Aluminum strips optional for stability.

    Hi Dan, I would say anything thicker than 3mm. After 3mm skins start acting like solid wood.

    Thanks for the clarification, Joe.

    Aluminum has very high thermal expansion compared to wood. How those strips provide stability is a mystery to me.
