    Vac Nozzle Storage

I have a list of stuff that just bugs me. You know, the cord that hangs in the way, the errant Allen wrench that can never be found, stuff like that. Tonight it was the vac hose end that is always on the bottom of the box I keep them in.

    Joint, plane and rip a 2 x 4.
Cut some rings in it with a circle jig.

Cut to length and screw it to the wall along with some old spray can lids.

Ahh, one more thing of my "that's the last straw" list.

Pretty ingenious if you ask me. I never would have thought of using spray can lids to hold the shop vac implements.

    Nice!

Do they seem secure or would there be a benefit of having a 5 degree bevel to the face when I copy your idea?

The lids I happen to use had ribs on the inside to make the caps sturdy. these act as grips. If your lids don't I would put a tilt on it ;-) I have also seen some PVC end caps used this way but they actually held the tools vertically so I'm not sure of the fit. One handy thing is that if your at the BORG trying out ideas for holders . . . the tools you use are probably in an aisle nearby for a test fit ;-)

Glenn, that's a great idea. I also like your jig for setting the fly cutter diameter. Both are worthy of sending of to one of the WWing mags.
